Featuring chemically cross-linked polyethylene insulation (XLPE), TXL Automotive Wire is the perfect choice where heat and flame resistance is a stringent requirement, such as in the engine compartment of vehicles. The smooth finish makes it resistant to moisture, oil, gasoline, grease, and most acids and solvents. The minimal diameter and weight of the TXL extra thin wire are ideal for tight spaces.

TXL Cross-Link wire is constructed with bare copper, stranded wire that meets or exceeds SAE J1128, Ford M1L-123A, and Chrylser MS-8288 requirements. The 60 V DC (25 V AC) wire is rated to work optimally between extreme temperatures of -40°C to 125°C (-40°F to 257°F) and is available in a variety of colors and sizes, from 22-8 gauge. TXL wire is a perfect lower-cost alternative to Tefzel wire.
